Membership cancellations require a 30-day notice. Your membership and applicable billing obligations remain active during the notice period according to the terms of your membership agreement.
Cancellation does not automatically refund previously collected membership dues, annual fees, enrollment fees, products, packages, or other purchases.

Cancelling may not be your only option. A participating Tan Republic salon may be able to help you preserve your membership rate and benefits through a temporary membership freeze.

Membership cancellation requests must be submitted through the Official Tan Republic Mobile App or through the online form on our Contact page.

How to submit your cancellation
Choose one of the following official Tan Republic cancellation methods. Calling or directly emailing a salon does not replace the official cancellation process.

Open the Official Tan Republic Mobile App and access the membership section associated with your account. Follow the in-app instructions to submit your cancellation request.

Complete the form on our Contact page. Be sure to select the Tan Republic location that manages your membership from the store dropdown so your request reaches the correct team.

Retain your submission confirmation
Keep the app confirmation, form confirmation, or other documentation showing when your cancellation request was submitted.
The applicable notice period is determined by your membership agreement and the date a valid cancellation request is received.

Refund eligibility is determined by your membership agreement and applicable law.
Can I continue tanning during the notice period?
Your membership generally remains active during the paid portion of your notice period, provided the account remains current and in good standing.

At participating locations, a membership freeze may temporarily reduce your monthly membership cost while helping you retain your existing membership rate and the ability to restart your full membership later.
Freeze pricing, eligibility, duration, and availability vary by location.
Will I keep my current price if I rejoin?
Not necessarily. Membership prices, enrollment costs, annual fees, and promotions are subject to change.
A cancelled membership may need to be restarted at the pricing available when you rejoin.
What if I submitted a request but received no response?
Retain your app or form submission confirmation. You may contact the location managing your membership to verify that the request was received and that the information submitted matches your membership account.
